FAQ

Why should I use your kits?

We pride ourselves on being able to offer what we consider to be the best flat pack kits on the market with quick fix connectors and step by step instructions. Our kits are produced using the latest CNC cutting technology and are designed in a way that reduces assembly time by up to 50%. The kits are made to be user friendly with comprehensive printed assembly instructions for each kit and various online tools to give step by step visual instruction.

As we run alongside a converter we may have a CAD file and are always keen to expand our medium van range.  However, we aren’t able to supply any of the larger vans (Crafter, Boxer, Ducato) as their specifications change so much.  For those vans we offer kitchen pods which can be found on the appropriate drop down page.

We do recommend some DIY knowledge, but we have instructions online and videos that can take you through each step of the way.  One of our customers was Urban VanLife and they kindly added a couple of You Tube videos for the LWB Ford Transit Custom Coastline Square kit and a side locker so please take a look at those.  However, we have designed the units to be as simple as possible to build with a minimal amount of tools and when adding the T trim there is a small amount of force and blade work to achieve the best finish.

Please find these on our Instructions page which is situated at the top of the home page.  Select your van and correct kit and click through to see the PDF. We do recommend you look through these before buying the kit to give you an idea of how to put it together.  There are also You Tube (please see our Ford Transit Custom Urban Vanife feed) and Instagram posts that can help.

The configuration system has what we call our ‘stock’ and most popular board. Should you want a laminate finish that isn’t listed we charge £50 extra per sheet (4 needed for unit colours and 1 needed for the worktop/table).  We ask customers to add the preference codes/colour to the notes in the final stages of the order which alerts our customer services team to raise an invoice for you.

We are slowly building out our range of kits as we like to cut and test every variation and ensure we have comprehensive written instructions available. The best way to keep up to date with the new designs is following us on Instagram or Facebook.

Yes you can arrange to visit us and see samples of the materials, we may have cut a kit with one of the board finishes you’d like or there is an option to go to the Morland Shop which is one of our suppliers – Morland.
