FLAT PACK CAMPERVAN UNITS INFORMATION
Our range of flat pack campervan kits have been developed through 10 years of professional campervan conversions. Each kit comes complete with comprehensive written and video instruction as well as all the necessary fixings. The kits utilize a unique fixing system which means kits can be fully assembled in half a day. On this page you will find detailed information relating to each kit.
ALL KITS
CARPET LINING
Our kits have been designed to suit the standard style of carpet lining which uses the factory panels on the side of the van. With no box over the wheel arches. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch for more detail.
FlOOR
We recommend a floor that is no thicker than 20mm. This is usually made up of 9mm packers between the ridges of the metal floor plus a 9mm top piece and polyvinyl flooring at 2mm.
BED BOARDS
We have bed boards available for various rock and roll beds. If your bed is not listed in the van builder, please get in touch and we can see if we can arrange a set of boards to suit.
ASSEMBLY
All our units come pre-slotted edges for you to apply the supplied T trim. The kits come with a full set of written instructions to guide you through the assembly process (also linked on our home page). Our team are always on hand for advice should you have any issues.
SINKS/HOBS
We recommend a RH sink SMEV 9722 with 12v electronic ignition (not manual) for Coastline LWB and Coastline SWB Square units.
LH sink SMEV 9722 with 12v electronic (not manual) ignition for Surfline LWB and Coastline SWB Curved units.
We recommend the Dometic HSG 2445 sink/hob for the SWB Surfline conversion.
POPTOP ROOFS
Our kits are suitable for vans with both poptops and low roofs. The only specific adjustment that needs to be made is in the selection of your overhead locker. Please contact us if you are unsure which locker will be suitable for your roof.
The COASTLINE KIT
The Coastline kit utilities a more tradional 112cm (3/4) Rock and Roll bed. This gives a perfect balance between storage and sleeping space. The kit has been developed over the past 8 years to make use of every inch of available space within the van. The photo below shows the flat pack campervan kit fitted in a VW T6 van.
Seat Compatibility
The Coastline kit is suitable for any bed that is a maximum of 112cm wide. We recommend the RIB seats and Smart Beds for use with our units although any bed no wider than 112cm is compatible. If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to get in contact and we can double check.
